The Aims and Ethos of the School
Our philosophy
At our school we encourage pupils to work together in a natural
way, within a friendly and supportive environment. We believe that
an important part of educating young people is to encourage them to
develop positive relationships with those from different social and
cultural groups and we are firmly committed to equal opportunities
for all our pupils. Courtesy and a concern for others are a high
priority.
Our aims are to encourage pupils:-
• to achieve their maximum academic and social potential.
• to develop self-confidence, initiative, ambition and
leadership.
• to develop enquiring minds, giving them the ability to question
and argue rationally and to apply themselves to challenging tasks.
• to identify and foster talents and give them opportunities to
develop these.
to develop respect for themselves and for other people, whatever
their race, gender or religion.
to share good social and moral values and to become worthwhile and
responsible members of our community, both in and out of school.
We have a professional, committed teaching and support staff.
who work as a team to ensure that your child has the best
possible opportunity to succeed. |
School Uniform
In Years 9, 10 and 11 Trinity pupils are required to wear school
uniform. We are proud of our pupils and we want our pupils to feel
proud of their association with Trinity School. School uniform
fosters this sense of belonging and it is both smart and practical
in use. Parents are expected to support the school in maintaining a
high standard of school uniform, which is as follows:
