Janet
Facer (Anderton) found a number of glass photographic plates at school in one of
the workshops. There were two boxes, with around 20 plates in them in
total.
Originally
it was though that they were pictures of "Gunner's Wedding", but
thanks to Margaret Dillon (Rudd) we found out that they are not. Then the Chronicle
and Echo printed an article about them on 5th April 2004, and as a result the real owner was

The
photos are of the wedding of Esme Garlick and Edward Stone, which took place on
11th August 1951 at Greens Norton.
