produced a small ingot of Uranium metal from a tobacco tin that
several of us handled. Astonishingly dense and heavy. It
did not actually glow and probably was only very slightly
radioactive, but somehow I can't imagine that happening today. |

Elsie as she was known) to the captain of the ship. I heard after I
had left that she finished up marrying him !! |
