The School Photograph of 1947

Norman French, who came to the 2007 reunion, and who went to THS from 1946 to 1940 had a beautiful copy of the 1947 photo.  It is now available here.  When Norman showed it to me I was amazed to see that my uncle was sat amongst the teachers.  I had no idea he had ever taught at the school.  I have since found out that he was at the school very briefly.  Having been discharged from the services after the war, he decided to go into teaching, and spent a short time teaching at Trinity before he went to Teacher Training College.
