He lived at 20 Saxon Rise, Duston, Northampton and moved
to Australia in February 1970. He had a 4 week journey via the Canary
Islands (Las Palmas), Cape Town, Fremantle and then Melbourne. He
found some digs via Bruce Barclay of Aston Civil Engineering, and later
moved to Geelong about 50 miles south east of Melbourne and worked as an IE
with Alcoa the aluminium giant. He later left Geelong and moved to the
bush to join the Shepparton Preserving Company as a production manager. |
