Pictures of the School in 2003/4

Here are some photos of the school as it was before the construction work began to turn it into Unity College.

The Rear of the School Hall Showing the Organ

A photo below is of the back of the school Hall showing the Organ that was moved here by Mr Timms and Mr Guffog.  The hall is set out for exams and the photo was taken in the evening.

The Famous Tower

This view of the famous tower, was also taken in the evening from the playground.  It is amazing how it does not look as big as it used to, or is this just the angle from the playground?

The Courtyard and the Pond

The picture below shows the famous courtyard and pond, as it was in June 2003.  During the follow summer holiday period the pond was removed.  Surprisingly, despite the green water, and the feeling that everyone had that there were no fish left in it, they found 20 fish when it was drained.  They have now been successfully re-housed.
