This will be the 30th Prize-winners/Speechday that I have attended in one of five capacities:

1. teacher,

2. school governor

3. parent of a prize-winner

4. a prize-winner myself-6th form shield 1994

5. and now,  presenter of a prize.

I am sure nobody else can match that record.

Thinking of prize-winner's evenings leads me to remember the occasion when a delightful pupil released a mouse onto the floor of the hall!!!
